Job summary

Healthy Rural California (HRC) is seeking a Residency Program Manager to lead the administration and daily operations of an ACGME-accredited residency program. You will support residents, faculty, Chief Residents, and GME leadership, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, evaluations, accreditation documentation, and compliance with ACGME standards.

The role reports to the GME Director and Residency Program Director and supervises a Project Assistant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Two years of administrative experience and/or program coordination experience required.
• Passion to improve community health outcomes in rural Northern California communities.
• Experience with grant program coordination preferred.
• Ability to independently prioritize work and manage multiple sources of direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and confidentiality focus.
• Knowledge of ERAS software and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the residency program and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME standards and institutional requirements.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Prepare and distribute residency milestone data and NAS data.
• Manage outside electives, travel, and housing logistics for residents.
• Maintain confidential resident and fellow files and program records.
• Liaise with departments and affiliated institutions.
