Modern Family Law in Fort Collins, CO hires a Family Law Paralegal to work directly with our attorneys on divorce, child custody, property division and support matters, carrying your own caseload.

Remote-first with in-person court and client work as needed; you will draft filings, manage deadlines, and communicate with clients in sensitive family matters.

Our tech stack includes NetDocuments, Salesforce, TimeSolv, and Microsoft 365, with opportunities for growth and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Family law experience required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in e-filing with county court systems.
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a law firm setting.
• Accurate, ethical billable narratives for client matters.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of family law matters from hire through resolution with attorneys.
• Draft and file Petitions, Summons, Case Information Sheets, Notices and Motions; e-file and track status.
• Own deadlines; manage calendars and filing dates to avoid late submissions.
• Interact with clients, answer questions, and provide attentive service.
• Maintain clean, current files and documentation accessible to the team.
• Collaborate with attorneys as a proactive partner rather than a focused inbox.
