Family Law Paralegal – Full-Time

Are you passionate about helping families navigate the legal system? Do you have a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills? The Siemon Law Firm, PC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia.

Position Details

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Location: Atlanta Office - In-person training for 60 days; hybrid option available if requirements are met
• Pay: $62,250.00 yearly

Key Responsibilities

• Assist multiple attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence
• Draft basic pleadings and correspondence
• Meet a minimum billable requirement
• Conduct legal research and compile case information
• Manage case files and ensure all documents are properly filed and updated
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, court hearings, and client consultations
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and third parties
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely task completion
• Prepare and file court documents through e-filing systems
• Provide light office management support, including maintaining office supplies and ensuring office organization
• Work independently and take initiative to keep cases progressing efficiently

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal in family law. Paralegal certification or a degree from an accredited institution preferred. Proficiency in legal research and case management software (Clio experience a plus!). Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients.
