A leading home health care provider is seeking a Paralegal to support legal and administrative functions. This fully remote role requires expertise in healthcare law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The Paralegal provides legal support for administrative programs, including researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for internal and external correspondence, performing due diligence for business development, reviewing and summarizing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing documents, filings, and records for PHS entities.
This role requires managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, exercising initiative and judgment in administrative and legal tasks.
5-7 years of paralegal experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare, with understanding of healthcare law, Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and multistate regulatory licensing.
Highly attentive to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills, and clear, concise writing style.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction, and manage competing priorities with minimal oversight.
Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work with diverse constituencies and develop rapport at all organizational levels.
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program is required.
Since 1990, Pediatric Home Service has provided high-quality DME and nursing services to medically fragile children, enabling them to thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. Our clients are primarily aged birth through 21 years and may require technologies like trachs, ventilators, or g-tubes.
