Job description

Location and Hours
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
    • Hybrid work schedule
The Position

The Paralegal provides legal support for administrative programs, including researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for internal and external correspondence, performing due diligence for business development, reviewing and summarizing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing documents, filings, and records for PHS entities.

This role requires managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, exercising initiative and judgment in administrative and legal tasks.

  • Support regulatory, licensing, auditing, and credentialing initiatives.
  • Complete due diligence, including review and organization of contracts and documents, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
  • Draft and update legal documents under counsel's guidance; independently prepare legal documents from templates.
  • Research statutes and regulations.
  • Support business development efforts as needed.
  • Track and manage project timelines to meet deadlines.
Qualifications

5-7 years of paralegal experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare, with understanding of healthcare law, Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and multistate regulatory licensing.

Highly attentive to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills, and clear, concise writing style.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction, and manage competing priorities with minimal oversight.

Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work with diverse constituencies and develop rapport at all organizational levels.

Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program is required.
