The Paralegal provides legal support for administrative programs, including researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for internal and external correspondence, performing due diligence to support business development, reviewing and summarizing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing documents, filings, and records for PHS entities.
This role involves managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, requiring initiative and judgment in both administrative and legal tasks.
5-7 years of paralegal experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare law, with knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and regulatory licensing (multistate preferred).
Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a clear, concise writing style.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction, and manage priorities to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work with diverse constituencies and develop rapport across organizational levels.
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program is required.
