Job description

Location and Hours
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
    • Hybrid work schedule
The Position

The Paralegal provides legal support for administrative programs, including researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for correspondence, supporting business development through due diligence, reviewing and summarizing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing records for PHS entities.

The role requires managing multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, exercising initiative and judgment in administrative and legal tasks.

  • Support regulatory, licensing, auditing, and credentialing initiatives.
  • Complete due diligence, including reviewing and organizing contracts and documents to ensure accurate and timely filings.
  • Draft and update legal documents under counsel's guidance; independently prepare legal documents from templates.
  • Research statutes and regulations.
  • Support business development as needed.
  • Manage project timelines to meet all deadlines.
Qualifications

5-7 years of paralegal experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare law (Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, licensing), preferably multistate. Must have a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program.

Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills, and a clear, concise writing style. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Capable of working independently, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. Effective communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups and develop rapport across organizational levels.
