Springfield Public Schools is seeking a Family Liaison to conduct home visits aimed at improving student achievement and strengthening home–school communication. The role involves connecting families to resources, promoting workshops, and supporting families with social needs within a diverse district.

This position emphasizes collaboration with parents, teachers, and counselors, with responsibilities including referrals, participation in family activities, and developing home-based learning

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or two years in family services.
• Strong communication with families.
• Ability to work in a diverse educational environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word; email/internet access.

Responsabilités

• Connect families to resources and information on workshops.
• Support families with social needs via community resources.
• Assist with referrals to district programs and services.
• Promote district and school events and family activities.
• Develop learning kits for home visits.
• Welcome families and connect them to the school community.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and counselors to enhance communication.
• Attend parent engagement capacity building workshops.
