Job summary

Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County seeks a Judicial Assistant to support the Family Court department. You will juggle calendars, coordinate with judges and attorneys, and maintain case files with diplomacy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of administrative experience.
• Combined Education And Experience Qualifications: experience substituting for needed years or related training.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to assigned Commissioner or Division Administration.
• Prepares, maintains, and revises daily court calendars, including hearings and trial dates.
• Arranges interpreters, court reporters, and special assignments as necessary.
• Reviews case files for completeness and contacts parties for missing information.
• Prepares information for Judge’s review prior to hearings.
• Manages calendar flow and directs courtroom proceedings as needed.
• Inputs hearing outcomes into court database for daily case flow management.
• Handles inquiries from litigants, the public, lawyers, and court personnel.
