You will be the primary contact for families, manage cancellations, and keep accurate records in our scheduling system while ensuring HIPAA compliance and a positive, family‑centered experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in scheduling, administrative support, or customer service (healthcare preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency with scheduling software, EHR, and email.
• Experience in healthcare/pediatric therapy setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and therapy services (PT/OT/SLP/ABA).
• Knowledge of insurance verification/authorization processes.

• Schedule and manage pediatric therapy appointments across multiple disciplines.
• Serve as primary contact for families regarding scheduling, cancellations, and changes.
• Coordinate with therapists and staff to optimize provider availability.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records in EHR or scheduling systems.
• Monitor waitlists, cancellations, and rescheduling to maximize productivity.
• Verify appointment details and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate evaluations, ongoing therapy, and team services scheduling.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to families and staff.
