Job summary

The YMCA of Central Maryland, Inc. is seeking a Family Center Operations Associate to help deliver exceptional member experiences. Under the Program Director, you will mentor staff, process membership transactions accurately, and respond to member needs while promoting YMCA programs and services.

You will collaborate with the family center team to manage daily operations, supervise activities, and ensure facilities are well-maintained and safe for members and children.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with members and staff
• Ability to mentor and train other staff
• Experience handling membership transactions accurately
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to plan and coordinate day-to-day operations

Responsibilities

• Promotes and welcomes members, associates, and vendors in a professional manner
• Develops relationships with members and helps connect them to YMCA services
• Resolves membership concerns and informs supervisors of issues
• Adheres to YMCA policies and guidelines
• Performs supervisory or administrative functions as assigned
• Plans and coordinates day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of facilities/equipment
