Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is seeking a Master’s Level Family Counselor (FBMHP) to join our Family Based Mental Health program in Lancaster, PA. This role delivers intensive, community-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families with complex needs using ESFT and collaborative supervision.

The position offers employer-paid training leading to certification, supervision for licensure, and a supportive, team-based environment with opportunities for growth and a bilingual bonus

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in the specified field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP-related program.
• Volunteer and internship experiences count toward experience.
• Ability to transport clients in own car.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
• Ability to provide services in home, school, and community locations.
• On-call coverage on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis response, and case management to help families navigate mental health challenges.
• Work closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen family relationships and develop effective behavioral strategies for their children.
• Deliver community-based family therapy in home, school, and community locations.
• Partner with a Bachelor’s-level Mental Health Worker to serve up to 8 families at a time.
• Participate in weekly supervision and group/team supervision for clinical growth.
• Receive on-call crisis consultation and rotate on-call schedule when needed.
