Qualifications

  • Must be 18+ with a valid U.S. drivers license.
  • Outdoor recreation experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of leading teams.
  • Willing to complete USA Archery Level 1 Instructor or BSA range master.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, Email, registration software, POS software.
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and lead operational activities providing a glamping environment to guests.
  • Provide leadership to the FAC team, including program management, housekeeping, scheduling, and performance reviews.
  • Resolve concierge/customer service challenges within 8 hours.
  • Partner with the full-time program team to manage activity scheduling for guests.
  • Knowledge expert for sitewide operations, programs, and local attractions.
  • Compile reports, build/modify SOPs, and maintain inventories.
  • Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership.
  • Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook.

Position Overview

Lead a team to provide unique and enriching vacation experiences for families. This position manages a variety of housekeeping, hospitality, and adventure activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and lead operational activities providing a glamping environment to guests
  • Provide leadership to the FAC (Family Adventure Camp) team, including program management, housekeeping, scheduling, and performance reviews and hospitality
  • Resolve concierge/customer service challenges within 8 hours
  • Partner with the full-time program team to manage activity scheduling for guests
  • Knowledge expert for sitewide operations, programs, and local attractions
  • Compile reports, build/modify SOPs, and maintain inventories
  • Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area

Qualifications
  • Minimum age: 18+ & a valid U.S. driver's license
  • Preferred: Outdoor recreation experience
  • Required 2+ yr. leading teams, prefer 2+ Summit employment
  • Ability to complete USA Archery Level 1 Instructor or BSA range master
  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Email, registration software, POS software)
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
Physical & Practical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines
  • Housing: 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform: Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours: 45-55
