Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

As a Staff RN, you will plan and provide nursing care for an assigned patient group, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold Northside's commitment to quality, safety, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.
• Preferred BSN with additional life-support credentials or specialty certifications.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Manages patient care for an assigned group of patients in alignment with hospital philosophy and policies.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.


2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. BSN degree


2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.


3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
