Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients following physician orders and established guidelines. The nurse will work within the scope of Georgia Nurse Practice Act and uphold values of collaboration and empowerment.

The role requires GA RN licensure in good standing and BLS certification. BSN and additional life-support credentials are preferred for unit-specific roles.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Care for an assigned group of patients in alignment with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care and proper documentation.

Required

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
