Job summary

SpaceX in California is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer (Fairings) to develop and execute procedures for integration and testing of fairing hardware and ground support equipment for customer and Starlink missions.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, handle nonconformances, and manage multiple priorities to improve reliability and reduce labor hours, while contributing to a fast-paced, high‑tech launch environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics is required.
• 1+ years hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical and/or fluid systems; projects/internships qualify.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods for rapid re-flight of fairings recovered from space.
• Provide engineering support for fairing refurbishment, testing and re-flight.
• Develop and execute procedures for integration and testing of fairing flight hardware and ground support equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering staff daily to disposition nonconformances and execute launch manifest.
• Manage multiple priorities to improve reliability and reduce labor hours.
