Job summary

SpaceX in California seeks an Integration & Test Engineer (Fairings) to develop rapid refurbishment and testing methods for recovered fairings used on Starlink and customer missions.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, write test plans, and ensure safe handling of high-pressure systems and test hardware. A Bachelor’s in engineering or physics and hands-on experience are required to join a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
• 1+ years hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical and/or fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods for rapid and reliable processing and re-flight of fairings.
• Provide engineering support for fairing refurbishment, testing, and re-flight.
• Develop and execute procedures for integration and testing of fairing flight hardware and ground support equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering staff and technicians to disposition nonconformances and support launch manifests.
• Manage and track multiple priorities to improve reliability and reduce labor hours.
