Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an engineer to join the team working on reusable rocket technology, focusing on rapid and reliable processing and re-flight of fairings recovered from space. You will support refurbishment, testing, and integration of fairing flight hardware and ground support equipment.

Collaborate daily with engineers and technicians to disposition nonconformances, manage multiple priorities, and improve reliability while reducing labor hours to help missions for customers and Starlink.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics.
• 1+ years hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid systems (projects or internships).

Responsibilities

• Develop methods for rapid and reliable fairing processing and re-flight.
• Provide engineering support for refurbishment, testing, and re-flight of fairings.
• Develop procedures for integration and testing of fairing hardware and ground equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to disposition nonconformances and support launch manifests.
• Manage multiple priorities to improve reliability and reduce labor hours.
