Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and hands-on technical experience.
• Preferred advanced degree in engineering fields such as mechatronics, aerospace, or electrical.
• Experience designing, building, integrating, and testing multi-disciplinary systems.
• Experience writing test plans and procedures; familiarity with test operations.

Responsibilities

• Process Falcon 9 flight vehicles to enable rapid reuse, integration and launch.
• Develop and execute checkout and integration procedures for rockets and ground support equipment.
• Assist with hands-on assembly, integration and testing of vehicle components.
• Lead on-site operations and collaborate with engineers to resolve flight readiness issues.
• Provide direction to field technicians and design tools for assembly and testing.
• Identify high-risk processes and implement improvements for operational excellence.
• Lead root cause investigations to fix reliability issues and prevent downstream disruption.
• Develop manufacturing assembly procedures from lessons learned.
• Manage work orders and drive non-conformances into improvements.
