Job summary

Truist is seeking a Compliance Officer to join its Fair Banking Advisory team within the Fair Banking & Regulatory Program. You will help oversee Fair Lending compliance across consumer lending products and business units, partnering with Compliance, Risk, Audit, Analytics, and stakeholders to identify and mitigate risk.

The role offers exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives and governance in a large financial institution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Two years of compliance-related experience.
• Five years of financial institution experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of standard compliance concepts, policies and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Understand applicable laws and provide regulatory guidance to assigned units.
• Review regulatory changes and assess their impact on functions.
• Manage compliance communications, training, documentation, procedures, and processes.
• Monitor and communicate compliance risk management industry developments.
• Support remediation efforts and governance processes.
