Med-Neurology - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (25001012)

The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center are seeking an Epileptologist at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor, tenured, in the tenure stream and outside the tenure stream.

General rank requirements:

1. Assistant Professor, non-tenure or tenure-stream: Three or more years of experience in related scientific research, ability to obtain external research funding, dissemination of results through peer-reviewed publications, significant teaching experience, and potential for career development.
2. Associate Professor, non-tenure, tenure-stream, and tenured: Five or more years of research experience, independent external research funding, substantial peer-reviewed publications, significant teaching experience, and leadership qualities.
3. Professor, non-tenure, tenure-stream, and tenured: Served five to seven years as an Associate Professor, recognized authority in their field, and demonstrated leadership and scholarship.

The qualified candidate must have graduated from a neurology residency, completed a fellowship in Neurology, and demonstrate excellence in training. Responsibilities include outpatient care, research interests, and teaching residents and students. The position will serve patients at UPMC Kaufmann Medical Building and other locations.

Candidates must be qualified for medical licensure in Pennsylvania, hold a medical degree (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent), and be Board Certified or eligible in Neurology.
