The University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine (UPSDM), invites applications for a non-tenure, faculty position in the Department of Dental Anesthesiology at the Assistant Professor level. The candidate must have a DDS or DMD degree, be eligible for board certification, or be board certified by the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology. Eligibility to obtain a clinical license in Pennsylvania, clinical excellence, and mentoring interest are required.

We seek an individual with leadership skills to contribute to clinical practice, education, and research. Responsibilities include leading departmental vision, teaching students and residents, scholarly activities, interdisciplinary care, and participating in clinical practice. Candidates with additional expertise such as dual certifications, PhDs, or advanced degrees will be favored. Salary will reflect qualifications and experience. Desirable qualities include substantial scholarly experience, clinical talents, and leadership skills.
