The Department of Medicine - The Division of Malignant Hematology/Medical Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking full-time faculty at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Qualified applicants will be established investigators with a proven track record in extramural NIH funding. This position offers opportunities for translational research, clinical care, teaching, and mentoring.

Qualifications:

  • MD degree, BC/BE physicians and physician scientists
  • Proven record in extramural NIH funding
  • Strong publication record

Responsibilities:

  • Research, patient care, teaching, and mentoring

Qualifications by rank:

  • Assistant Professor: 3+ years of research experience, ability to obtain external funding, peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, and potential for career development.
  • Associate Professor: 5+ years of research, independent funding, significant publications, leadership, and impact in the field.
  • Professor: 5-7 years as Associate Professor, recognized authority, leadership, and scholarly contributions.
