Job summary

Hazard Community & Technical College is seeking applicants for a Nursing Instructor - two available positions. This 10-month appointment will teach college level credit courses in the Practical Nursing Diploma and Associate Degree Nursing programs on-site in Hazard, Kentucky.

This role delivers instruction using approved curriculum, utilizes learning management systems, and participates in professional development and college/department meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least three years of experience working as a Nurse.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Some teaching experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction, instructional activities, and prepare learning materials for courses each semester in accordance with approved curriculum.
• Use of technology and learning management systems to support instruction.
• Complete instructional support processes such as syllabi development, course assessments, early interventions, and class organization.
• Participate in professional development and college/department meetings.
