Job summary

Hazard Community & Technical College is seeking applicants for a Nursing Instructor - two available positions. This 10-month appointment will teach college level credit courses in the Practical Nursing Diploma and Associate Degree Nursing programs.

Deliver instruction, use technology and learning management systems to support teaching, and complete syllabi development, course assessments, and class organization. Master's degree preferred; teaching experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least three years of experience.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Some teaching experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction, instructional activities, and prepare learning materials for courses each semester.
• Use of technology and learning management systems to support instruction.
• Complete instructional support processes such as syllabi development, course assessments, early interventions, and class organization.
• Participate in professional development and college/department meetings.
