University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an administrative assistant to support faculty, students, and affiliated personnel within the Kenan-Flagler area. You will manage scheduling, coordinate conferences and events, and assist visiting scholars while handling communications on behalf of the area.
The role requires a high school diploma with relevant office experience; knowledge of Concur and Excel is a plus and may be preferred.

The position is responsible for providing critical administrative support for a variety of faculty, students, and affiliated personnel in matters related to the area concentration. This includes providing administrative support to the Area Chair, scheduling meetings, planning conferences and events, assisting visiting faculty and scholars, and sending communications on behalf of the academic area.
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience in event planning, Concur, monthly budget reconciliation and Excel.
