Job summary

The American Indian College Fund seeks a creative Program Officer—Faculty Development to expand our faculty programming and support 1,600+ faculty across 35 TCUs. You’ll develop, manage, and evaluate PD initiatives, mentor faculty, and help plan conferences and writing retreats.

You’ll collaborate with partners, travel 3–4 times per year, and report to the Sr. Program Officer. A background in higher education and strong communication are essential to advance tribal college faculty success.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional work experience.
• At least two years in a higher education setting related to faculty.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the faculty PD grant program across 34 TCUs.
• Create and facilitate faculty communities of practice.
• Help develop and implement courses and workshops for faculty.
• Identify faculty needing PD support and connect them with mentors and resources.
• Be knowledgeable about PD needs of TCU faculty and propose relevant programs.
