Job summary

Brigham Young University (BYU) seeks a Faculty Development Specialist to plan and execute faculty development events, manage certifications and development records, and support rank and status processes within the School of Medicine. You will coordinate workshops, onboarding sessions, and conferences while ensuring confidentiality and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of relevant experience in academic settings.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing complex meetings, trainings, or large-scale professional development events.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, calendars, stakeholders, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute faculty development events and programs, including workshops, conferences, and onboarding sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of certifications, licenses, trainings, and development activities.
• Coordinate rank and status processes and support faculty success initiatives.
• Provide administrative support for faculty affairs and maintain confidential files.
