Job summary

Brigham Young University—School of Medicine seeks a Coordinator of Faculty Development to plan and manage faculty development programs, track certifications, and support scholarly teaching and leadership. The role emphasizes confidentiality, policy compliance, and collaboration with Office of Faculty staff to support rank and status processes.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and several years of experience in planning, coordinating, and administering complex meetings or trainings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, higher education administration, health professions education, business administration, communications, public administration, organizational leadership, or a related field.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing complex meetings, trainings, workshops, or large-scale professional development events.
• Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, calendars, stakeholders, and logistical details.
• Experience providing administrative, program, or operational support in a professional office setting.
• Experience tracking confidential information, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and following up on required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute faculty development events and programs.
• Coordinate workshops, seminars, retreats, onboarding sessions, conferences, speaker events, and other activities.
• Track attendance, evaluations, and summarize feedback for improvements.
• Maintain confidential files and assist with rank, promotion, and tenure processes.
• Support communications, resource development, and data collection related to scholarship and teaching effectiveness.
