Brigham Young University School of Medicine seeks a Faculty Development Instructional Designer to design, deliver, and evaluate faculty development resources that enhance teaching, scholarship, and service. The role partners with faculty, course leaders, and administrators to build scalable programs informed by evidence and aligned with mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in instructional design, educational technology, curriculum/instruction, adult learning, higher education, health professions education, medical education, or related field.
• Three+ years of instructional design, faculty development, educational technology, or related experience in higher education or health professions education preferred.
• Experience designing aligned learning objectives, activities, assessments, and evaluation plans.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate faculty development workshops, asynchronous modules, teaching guides, onboarding materials, and communities of practice.
• Support faculty with evidence-informed teaching methods including active learning and team-based learning.
• Build reusable templates, job aids, and implementation guides for scalable programs.
