Job description

Faculty - Construction Management Technology

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a full-time Construction Management Technology Instructor. A full‑time faculty member is expected to maintain high standards of professionalism and academic excellence. At least 40 hours per week are to be spent on direct instruction, preparation and evaluation of instruction, student accessibility, committee assignments, advising, and service to the college and community. Faculty may be assigned a teaching schedule that includes any college location, and at times that meet student, program, and college needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the CMT Lead in managing CMT students, classes, and program‑related activities.
• Assist the CMT Lead in improving CMT class activities, equipment, and classroom layouts.
• Support CMT students in SkillsUSA competitions and related activities.

Required Education and Experience

AAS degree or higher in Construction Management with two years of construction project supervision field experience in related subject matter.

Preferred Education and Experience

• OSHA Construction Safety Certified authorized Trainer
• AutoCAD, AutoDesk and Revit experience
