Job summary

SEL is growing and opening a new device factory in Nampa, Idaho. We are seeking a Factory Manager to lead production teams in a facility producing digital and ruggedized hardware for electric power grids and industrial systems.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, on-time delivery, and applying World Class Manufacturing principles to daily operations. You will direct manufacturing activities, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement while upholding SEL values and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Minimum eight years' related experience in progressive leadership roles in operations (manufacturing preferred).
• Ability to prioritize, organize and delegate; remove obstacles as needed.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process and product flow.
• Strong leadership, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, lead, organize and motivate the factory to meet objectives.
• Accountable for safety, quality, on-time delivery, lead-time productivity and budget.
• Identify staffing and capital requirements to meet objectives.
• Contribute to setting strategic direction for the factory.
• Model and apply SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand, create and simplify processes.
