Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an Engineering Manager for its Process Control & Reliability team in Nampa, ID. You will build and lead a field of skilled professionals aimed at maximizing equipment availability in a new Greenfield facility.

You will shape maintenance practices, develop capabilities, and implement systems to support growth, drive continuous improvement, and achieve operational excellence across SEL manufacturing.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of related engineering or management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines/technologies.
• Ability to design/produce/support successful products/processes.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads on discipline/technology/process, keeping cost, schedule, and performance objectives in mind.
• Assists portfolio planning and long-term strategy.
• Manages and develops individual contributors to meet group goals.
• Presents at external meetings and internal forums.
• Promotes SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
