Responsibilities include installing and troubleshooting factory PCs, patching and security updates, and collaborating with global IT teams on upgrades. 12-hour rotating day/night shifts support 24/7 operations.

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their team. As an IT Support Technician, you will be part of the Factory IT Support team supporting manufacturing operations at their Bloomington, MN site. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Support Technician

Location:Bloomington, MN (Onsite)
Shift:6:30 PM - 6:30 AM | F-SUN, every other TH
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (DAY / NIGHT shifts)

Pay Range:$28.75

What's the Job?

• Support factory IT operations by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting factory PCs and related systems.
• Ensure security compliance through patching, antivirus, and security updates on factory systems.
• Respond to help desk tickets, diagnose issues, and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to implement system upgrades and support factory software solutions.
• Assist with infrastructure tasks such as laying cables and supporting tool deployments within manufacturing facilities.

What's Needed?

• Experience with PC setup, installation, and troubleshooting on Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing hardware and software issues and supporting factory or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with help desk or application support systems such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar tools.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including day and night shifts, to support 24/7 manufacturing operations.
