AppleOne Employment Services in West Henrietta, NY is seeking a detail-oriented Factoring Operations Specialist for a 6+ month contract. The role supports back‑office financial operations, including funding activity, cash applications, and financial reporting in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in accounting/finance, strong Excel skills, and experience with data files, reconciliations, and ACH/wire processing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, or financial operations.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Experience with data entry, validation, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cash posting.
• Ability to process ACH and wire transactions accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile weekly funding reports, including AR activity and reserve analysis.
• Build, validate, and maintain Excel/CSV files for data imports and reporting.
• Process invoices, ACH, wires, cash postings, and AR activity across systems.
• Generate AR aging reports and reconcile payroll, invoicing, and accounting records.
• Research and resolve processing exceptions with internal teams.
• Maintain audit-ready records and meet deadlines weekly and monthly.
