Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing floors, walls, restrooms, and furniture in offices, institutional buildings, and living quarters to meet sanitary regulations and enhance the appearance of the buildings. Uses hand tools to perform general building maintenance. Works with a variety of chemicals. Uses ladders to clean windows and change lamps.
May work in residence halls, administration or classroom buildings. Some overtime and weekend work may be required. Benefits include paid health and life insurance for the employee, employer matched retirement at 6% of gross pay, and annual and sick leave. Sponsorship not available for this position.
