Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a Building Technician II to independently operate, monitor, and maintain critical building systems including HVAC, water treatment, and process equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components following SOPs and safety guidelines.

In this mid-level role, you will manage inventory, suggest equipment upgrades, and collaborate with engineers to improve facility processes and system performance. Shift: 2nd Sunday-Thursday 3pm-11pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Current universal refrigeration license and/or other trade licenses as required.
• General commercial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes planned maintenance, repairs, and modifications including painting, patching, fixture installations, caulking, carpentry, and more within the facility.
• Responds to Facility Service Work Orders (plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofing and electrical) and diagnoses faults in building management/energy systems.
• Collaborates with technicians to repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems; reads blueprints and schematics for proper troubleshooting.
• Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately; logs readings from equipment.
• Uses standard tools; keeps tools and work areas clean and orderly.
• Observes safety policies and uses PPE while performing tasks.
• Works on and completes all facility team-based goals.
