Job Title: Facility & Services Support

Location(s): Austin, TX

Position Overview

The Facility & Services Support contractor will provide front-office, administrative, and facilities support for an Austin-area office. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for employees and visitors while coordinating day-to-day facility services and office operations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer-service abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide reception and front-lobby support and serve as a professional first point of contact for visitors and employees.
  • Respond to general office inquiries and provide appropriate assistance or escalation.
  • Coordinate facility services, maintenance activities, and related operational requests.
  • Support mail services, logistics, conference room services, printing/copying, archives, cleaning, and office moves.
  • Receive, track, and complete facility service calls and maintenance requests.
  • Coordinate resources and activities with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Purchase materials, supplies, and other items required for facility installations, maintenance, repairs, and office operations.
  • Assist with office relocations, workspace setup, furniture coordination, and furnishing activities.
  • Track and maintain facility documentation, service records, incident reports, and related information.
  • Support office expansion and occupancy initiatives as facility needs evolve.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, efficient, and welcoming workplace environment.
  • Handle routine employee and customer inquiries using established procedures and guidelines.
  • Operate standard office and facilities-related software applications and systems.

Education & Experience

Candidates may qualify through either of the following pathways:

Option 1:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Entry-level candidates may be considered.

Option 2:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in an office environment.

Additional relevant vocational training or facilities/administrative experience may be considered.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a polished administrative or facilities support professional who enjoys interacting with people and can represent the organization professionally at the front desk. The candidate should be highly organized, technology proficient, customer focused, and comfortable balancing administrative, facilities, and service-related responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be able to follow established procedures while exercising sound judgment when addressing routine and moderately complex workplace situations.

  • 100% onsite position in Austin, TX.
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
  • Position supports continued facility expansion and evolving occupancy requirements as the Austin site grows and additional buildings and security operations come online.
