Job summary

Platform Aerospace is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO)/Security Manager in Hollywood, MD to administer the industrial security program and ensure compliance with NISPOM and DCSA requirements. The role leads personnel security, facility security, and security policy development, coordinating with HR, IT, and facilities.

The successful candidate will manage clearances, training, and reporting, while maintaining the FCL and security records, and serving as the primary liaison for security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in security-related field.
• Minimum 5 years in industrial or security roles within government contracting environments.
• Experience as an FSO or similar with NISP responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of NISPOM and DCSA processes.
• Experience with security documentation, incident reporting, and safeguarding classified information.

Responsibilities

• Administer the industrial security program according to NISPOM and DCSA requirements.
• Maintain Facility Clearance and security records and reporting.
• Manage personnel security clearances, briefings, and debriefings.
• Administer security systems and databases (DISS/NBIS/NISS).
• Review DD Form 254 requirements and communicate classified contract security needs.
• Develop procedures for handling, storage, and destruction of classified information.
• Coordinate security for classified meetings and visits.
• Lead security training and insider threat program coordination.
• Serve as primary point of contact for DCSA reviews and corrective actions.
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate reporting and actions.
