Job summary

AV Inc. is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to manage and coordinate industrial security programs ensuring compliance with government and company policies.

The role includes processing clearances, maintaining security documentation, and supporting DoD/IC requirements in a high tempo environment. The successful candidate will oversee DCSA security activities, serve as COMSEC Manager for a small COMSEC account, and collaborate with HR, Contracts, and Proposal teams to address security

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
• Experience with ICD705 and secure builds.
• At least 7+ years of relevant security experience.
• DCSA Facility Security Officer (FSO) Certification.
• Knowledge of government security and information assurance processes.
• Experience implementing NISPOM, DCIDS, ICDs, and EOs to ensure compliance.
• Ability to guide employees on personnel security requirements and handling of PII.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all security documentation and files per DCSA requirements.
• Maintain FCL documentation and submissions per DCSA requirements.
• Manage DD-254s and sub-DD254s.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, SPPs, and Emergency Action Plans.
• Provide new-employee security briefings and investigation of incidents.
• Maintain classified holdings and prepare classified transmittals per NISPOM.
