Qualifications

• High School graduate with two years related field experience.
• Must hold a valid New York State Driver license.
• Must obtain and maintain Security Guard License in NYS.

Responsibilities

• Control access points for vehicles and personnel to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Badge visitors, contractors and vendors and provide security escorts.
• Search personnel and vehicles to detect unauthorized materials for sabotage.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure facility security.
• Detect trespassers and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Inspect safety equipment and replenish first aid supplies; obtain required certifications.
• Provide crowd control for NYPA-sponsored events.
• Manage PBX, paging, and two-way radio coordination.
