Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Certified in First Aid and CPR per American Red Cross.
• Maintain guard license and certification as per NYS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Control entrance-exit to the facility daily; log entries for personnel and vehicles.
• Search personnel and access vehicles for weapons or items that could aid sabotage.
• Inspect firefighting and safety equipment on a monthly basis.
• Participate in quarterly drills on safety, security and fire emergencies.
• Document findings on security, safety and fire deficiencies.
• Operate CCTV, dispatch, and report to supervision as needed.
• Monitor unattended access points with CCTV where applicable.
