Job summary

ASRC Federal Systems Solutions LLC is seeking a Facility Specialist to support the ASTROS Contract at Edwards Air Force Base. The role serves as primary contact for area facilities, handling preventative maintenance and coordinating work with civil engineering and other teams.

Qualifications

• College degree required or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related experience in facility operations.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility and surrounding areas; perform daily inspections to check for maintenance or repairs needed and fire or safety risks.
• Serve as the central point of contact for facility occupants; communicate with all facility personnel regarding scheduled maintenance, issues, or outages.
• Coordinate work across multiple groups including Civil Engineering, Site Operations Control Center, HAZMART, Records Storage, and Munitions.
• Report facility issues through service requests and actively manage to completion; support scheduling and coordination of facility projects and upgrades.
• Provide basic facility maintenance and repair inside and outside buildings through preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain and promote energy conservation in facilities.
• Serve as the monitor for Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment and as government equipment custodian.
• Coordinate and support chemical and environmental waste management.
