Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Subcontracts Manager for the ASTROS program in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. You will oversee subcontracts, complex procurements, and long‑term service agreements, working with senior leadership to ensure compliance and strategic execution.

You will manage a small team, drive negotiations, and coordinate with program, contracts, finance, and engineering teams to align with government expectations and program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, contracts, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in federal subcontract management, including complex technical programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of subcontract and procurement professionals supporting ASTROS.
• Manage workload distribution, prioritize actions, and ensure timely, compliant execution of procurement and subcontract requirements.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of subcontracts, including planning, solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
• Develop acquisition strategies that balance program needs, technical risk, FAR/DFARS requirements, and market conditions.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for subcontractor performance issues and complex negotiations.
• Maintain accurate, compliant subcontract and procurement files and provide status reporting to leadership.
