Job summary

The Alden Network seeks an Assistant Administrator to oversee internal operations under the Administrator's direction. You will ensure compliance with policies, supervise staff, and promote quality care for residents and families.

Key duties include directing programs, coordinating admissions, and maintaining relationships with hospitals and community agencies. Strong leadership and decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of Long-Term Care preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to relate tactfully with residents, families, staff and the public.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Patient, enthusiastic, and cheerful disposition.
• Leadership and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct facility programs.
• Supervise employees and provide in-services training.
• Identify problems and implement solutions with Alden Management Services.
• Ensure quality care is rendered.
• Oversee resident admissions paperwork and processes.
• Represent the facility to clients, hospitals, and community agencies.
• Provide direction in the Administrator’s absence.
• Annual review of policies and procedures with revisions.
