Job summary

Civicworks seeks a Property Management Liaison to lead facilities management for a large CT portfolio from Hartford, with hybrid flexibility. You will oversee complex systems, manage operations, preventive maintenance, capital planning, and budgets across designated state facilities. After-hours emergency response availability is required.

The ideal candidate has extensive property management experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of handling multi-million dollar budgets.

Qualifications

• 7 years of general business management or property management experience.
• 1 year of property management experience required.
• Experience overseeing commercial office operations with budgets over $2M.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety.
• Ability to administer CMMS and manage preventive maintenance.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as facilities management lead for roughly one-third of CT's statewide real estate portfolio.
• Oversee complex building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety.
• Manage operations, preventive maintenance, capital planning, and budgets.
• Coordinate across assigned state facilities and respond to after-hours emergencies.
