Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a Facility Manager to supervise maintenance staff across multiple sites, focusing on MEP equipment, life safety, security, and related systems. The role includes coordinating repairs, initiating preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

You will lead a team, review work orders, manage resources, and train staff while providing high-quality service to clients and maintaining cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of facility management experience, including correctional facilities.
• 4-6 years of skilled commercial maintenance in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, Plumbing, Locksmith, Life Safety, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Knowledge of OSHA codes and regulations.
• Certifications such as CFC Universal may be required.
• Ability to work with employees at all levels and clients.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of employees including hiring, firing, and performance management; onboarding and training.
• Reviews job requests and prioritizes workloads.
• Supervises maintenance of MEP systems to ensure HVAC, electricity, gas, and other utilities.
• Performs routine facility inspections for safety and operational compliance.
• Implements policies to improve operations and reduce costs; optimizes labor and materials use.
• Requests tools, equipment, and supplies; follows tool control policies.
• Provides staff training and orientation to improve performance and safety.
• Keeps supervisor informed of progress on work orders and resources.
• Ensures OSHA compliance and professional interactions with client and staff.
• Responds to emergencies as requested.
• Maintains records and reports; completes training.
