Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a Facility Manager to supervise maintenance staff across multiple sites, ensuring proper repair, maintenance, and installation of building MEP equipment, life safety, and security systems. The role covers site upkeep, safety, and cost-effective operations.

The successful candidate will lead a team, review work orders, and enforce policies while ensuring OSHA compliance and effective communication with clients and site management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree preferred in business, public administration or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Advanced training in building maintenance or related trades preferred or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in facility management, ideally in custodial/correctional environments.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience.
• Certifications (e.g., CFC Universal) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of staff including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
• Reviews work orders daily to set workload priorities.
• Oversees maintenance of MEP systems to ensure continuous operations.
• Performs routine facility inspections for safety and compliance.
• Implements policies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and client policies.
• Provides safety training and staff orientation.
• Communicates status of work orders and resources to supervisor.
