You will manage maintenance, security, vendor relations, and budgeting to support a respectful environment for clients and staff. The role requires leadership, strong knowledge of building systems, and the ability to coordinate projects, enforce codes, and respond to emergencies after hours.

Qualifications

• Five years of facilities management, maintenance, construction, or related field.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Available outside working hours for emergent communication.
• Knowledge of building operating systems; electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Strong health, safety, and environmental regulations knowledge.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities; problem solving.
• Experience forecasting capital needs and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and maintain a building of ~17,000 sf.
• Maintain building systems (heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical).
• Oversee building inspections, permitting, and code adherence.
• Manage contractor/vendor relationships; review service contracts; negotiate bids.
• Initiate purchase requests; monitor expenses; implement cost reductions.
• Plan maintenance programs and ensure efficiency of all systems.
• Ensure security of building and grounds; manage security systems.
• Perform or oversee maintenance services, repairs, and janitorial work.
• Maintain a safe work environment for employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
