Job summary

Central Massachusetts Collaborative in Worcester, MA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to responsibly maintain and repair building systems. The role reports to the Director of Finance and Operations, and involves coordinating with external vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; additional technical training a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years general maintenance and repair experience.
• Familiarity with local, state and federal regulations and codes.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds.
• Strong safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and grounds regularly for safety and repairs.
• Coordinate inspections for playgrounds and life-safety systems.
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain OSHA, ADA, and fire code compliance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage and renew maintenance contracts and records.
• Coordinate snow removal and vehicle fleet maintenance.
• Communicate with leadership to set priorities.
• Assist with emergency drills and special projects.
