Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician for the Center in Grafton, MA, to perform preventive and ongoing maintenance of facilities, grounds, and systems.

You may supervise student workers and oversee contractors while delivering timely, quality services to students. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of maintenance experience and a valid in-state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in building maintenance.
• Technical certificate preferred; carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and boilers knowledge helpful.
• Must possess a valid in-state driver's license and meet insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and preventive maintenance to facility and building systems on Center.
• May inspect the work of other maintenance personnel.
• Researches and recommends purchase of replacement equipment as needed.
• May oversee training activities of students assigned to the maintenance area.
• May oversee the activities and quality of performance of outside contractors performing repairs and/or replacement of equipment.
• Completes work orders as assigned in a timely manner.
• Provides student transport as necessary.
• Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards.
• Plans, prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
